Migrating your Open Explorer account to National Geographic

On Thursday, March 29, 2018, Open Explorer moved onto the National Geographic Partners domain. In order for existing users to have access to their accounts, follow the process below:

1. Go to http://openexplorer.nationalgeographic.com and click "Sign In" on the top navigation bar. 
2. On this page, locate "Don't have an account? Join Now" and click "Join Now".
3. On this page, sign up for an account. Make sure you sign up with the same email address you used on the previous version of Open Explorer. If your email on Open Explorer was johnsmith123@gmail.com, make sure you use the same email address when you sign up on National Geographic.
4. Check your email and verify your account.
5. Go back to Open Explorer and click "Sign In" on the top navigation bar. 
6. Sign in using your email address and password that you just set up.
7. Once the page reloads, click "Dashboard" in the top navigation. You should see your expeditions and the expeditions you're following, and you should be all set!
